Records of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Braddock, Pa., contain a 100th Anniversary booklet (which gives history of the congregation), 19 photographs, and three volumes (1886-1921, 1904-1906 and 1922-1965, and 1964-1990) of baptism, confirmation, communicant, marriage, and burial lists. A membership list begins in the second volume. The information in the first two volumes is written in German.

The Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church was founded in 1886 and was originally known as the Immanuel German Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Unaltered Augsburg Confession. It is the oldest Lutheran church in Braddock and at one time was one of five Lutheran churches in the area. The need for a German Lutheran church reflects the number of new immigrants to Braddock of German descent.
